Fantastic choice for Easter baskets, classroom gifts, or egg hunts. But also something that's practical as a gift year-round for any kid that loves fluffy little animals. I picked this out to gift to our Daughter's class, figuring it should go over well with the kids. The benefit of ordering the 36 pack is that you're guaranteed to have enough for any classroom, plus a few extra. Since there aren't that many kids in her class, ahead of time we gave our Daughter a few to check out and play with. She loves animals, absolutely loves plushies in all sizes. But she had more fun with these than the larger ones that she keeps on and around her bed, because she realized she can hide them for us to find. So we might open a cabinet, or reach for a lamp, and then there's a cute little surprise waiting. She gets a kick out of making a game out of it. But we also play make believe with her different plush animals, and the bunnies are a welcome addition. There's a good variety of colors, you don't get lots of repeats of one particular color. The colors are vibrant, good Easter colors. You can handle the mini bunnies without risk of them falling apart, so that's good. Pretty easy to put them in the eggs and seal them up. Haven't had any issues with the eggs popping open on their own. They're durable enough, made to last, and should work for any Easter egg hunt. It's $23 for a pack of 36, which is a reasonable price given most pre-filled or DIY Easter eggs with "toys" run the same or only a couple bucks less for just 24 items. So you definitely get the most bang for your buck with the 36 pack. Also, I think it's always good to follow the rule of it being better to have something extra and not need it, then need more and not have it. You order a 24 pack, there's no telling if there will be an issue that would cause you to come up short. And again, better to have a larger number. The colorful plastic eggs come in a stack, and are sealed in plastic. Same goes for the bunnies, which are separate from the eggs. Both pouches are in a plain white box without markings. If you're going to give it to a teacher, you might want to make a note or add a post-it to be clear what it is so it doesn't get set aside and forgotten about. Based on how much our Daughter loves her bunny plushies, I ordered more just for her to play with. She's already thinking up all the places around the house she can hide them. She likes them so much she had us bring them to the park with her, so she could play around with them. I would recommend them to anyone that's looking for a fun, cute, cost-effective and non-candy type egg to use for hunts, baskets, or to gift to your child's classmates. Read more
I ordered these to get ready for our upcoming Easter egg hunt, and I think they’re going to be a really fun addition. I have an almost 3-year-old, and last Easter was her first time starting to understand the concept of an egg hunt. This year will really be her first time really getting it, so I wanted to find some things to put in eggs that would be really exciting for her. My daughter has ARFID and refuses to eat candy, so I have to get a little creative with what I put inside Easter eggs. These seemed like a great non-candy option. I also have an 8-month-old baby, so I try to be very mindful about choking hazards when buying toys for my toddler. If she leaves something out, there’s always the chance the baby could find it. These are a bit smaller than I expected based on the pictures, but the size is listed accurately in the product description, so that’s really on me for not checking more carefully. Even so, they’re still large enough that I’m not too worried about them being an immediate choking hazard (though I still wouldn’t leave my infant unattended with them). Overall, they seem well made and fun, and I’m really excited for my daughter to discover them during her Easter egg hunt. I am genuinely excited to use these and I think they’ll be a big hit! The media could not be loaded. I ordered these as gift-aways for our little patients. They come to our urgent care with illnesses, boo boos, and injuries that interrupt their day. They arrive with pouts, tears, and fears. After letting us poke and prod them, and hopefully make them feel better, we like to give them a little something to thank them for allowing us to help them, hopefully temper their fears, and maybe put a smile on those little faces. Sometimes we give slime, bubbles, coloring books or paint, whistles or glow sticks, fidget spinners, or something like these wonderful chicks with a surprise. I think these are one of the cutest toys I've ordered for our little patients. I took them out of the box and held one of the chicks in my hand and felt the little nubbies on it and felt so relaxed. It was so soft. I put the bag with the other 11 chicks down and was just shocks and jumped because they all started lighting up simultaneously. It made me smile so big and I was so happy. I guess I didn't read that they did this and that just made them all the more adorable in my eyes. Now that did make the hard ball in the little blue chick I was holding make much more sense that this was not a stress chick but more of a sensory toy. It also meant we had to be careful who we gave these darlings to as 3-4 year olds would still possibly put these in their mouths and these could be choking hazards. Anyway, these are so cute, so colorful. and so soft if you don't squeeze hard. They arrive with little eggs to hide them in for an Easter egg hunt or treasure hunt. These would be great as Halloween treats instead of candy. I mixed the egg and chick colors up so the chicks popped against a contrary color. Really so beautiful and smile inducing these little darlings are. Our little patients are jut going to adore them as much as I do. Priced at $21.99 for 12 chicks and eggs, I agree they are a little high but they do have the light up factor and the cuteness factor making me want to purchase them. Anything to make our little patients smile and have a better day. Read more
