Actually I think this unit is pretty good. It was easy to set up and install in my wife's car and looks prettty clear when looking through my phone when hooked up to it (wirelessly). I haven't hooked up the back camera yet but the sides do ajust a little up and down besides the back and forth so that helps to look out the sides where you want. I took a few snap shots with it and zoomed in on my phone and it is a lot clearer than my other cameras. I love the speed displayed on it also so now my wife sees she's being recorded in case there's a problem so she slows down a little (LOL) The voice response in it does sound very cheap but for the quality of the hardware and what it does with accuracy of the GPS I think it is well worth the price. Video quality is very good and the system works as advertised. Wiring hides easily, at least in a Toyota Highlander. Power tap is best done with a OBD plug. That makes it super easy and provides power when the ignition is off for security while parked unattended. There is a software glitch where the speed show correctly on the camera back screen, but shows doubled on the video recording. There is a software update to fix that. Based on the attached picture, I expected it to include motion-sensing capabilities while the vehicle is parked. However, after receiving the product, I could not find any mention of motion sensing on the packaging or in the included user manual. There are also no instructions for enabling parking motion detection or adjusting sensitivity. Because this feature was an important factor in my purchase decision, the lack of clear documentation makes it difficult to confirm whether the dash cam actually supports motion-based parking recording. If parking mode motion detection is included, it would be helpful for product manual to clearly mention it and to explain how to configure it.
