I normally buy Kroger hard boiled eggs, which are in packages of two and look more appetizing. But, I was already buying on Amazon so I thought, why not try these. Now, I have a good reason to never try them again. First off, I opened the bag and there was a chemical smell that I've never encountered with Kroger's eggs. I assumed it was the preservative. I decided to still give them a try. The eggs flopping around loosely in the bag made them appear very unappetizing. I tried taking a bite of one and was horrified that the taste matches the smell...chemically. I threw all the eggs away after one bite. What followed was two days of stomach cramps.
