FINALLY — UNSALTED CHIPS!
WOW — UNsalted chips…available commercially?!?! Sign me up! Now, I have to admit that hot, fresh, crispy chips at a Mexican restaurant (and frozen margaritas) have got to be my FAVORITE thing(s) to have there. I absolutely REFUSE to buy any of the name-brands’ bags because they’re LOADED with salt before even dipping them into more salty dips/salsas. I’ve settled on Great Value “lightly-salted”, out of desperation, but they’re STILL salty, not consistent in their thickness, and mostly broken in the bag. Our family has even tried to make the chips ourselves in a deep-fryer, but it just wasn’t the same…messy and time-consuming, to boot. I cannot recall what I was shopping for on AMZ when I stumbled upon these. But, “unsalted” (@5 mg vs 150 mg/serving) sure got my attention! Let’s just say that I will no longer be buying the Great Value brand and ONLY get these from Whole Foods/Amazon, or visit my local restaurant, from now on. They’re very good-tasting corn tortillas, with a consistent thickness, crispy, fried to perfection, don’t taste like rancid oil and, although more expensive, still cheaper than a night out. I just ordered some more…I’m hooked! Read more

This is my absolute favorite chips for dip because there's no added salt. Only problem is towards the end/bottom, it's a bunch of crumbs but I guess it's just something that I'll have to deal with. Read more

Should have gone to the convenience store
Somehow defaulted to unsalted when the pic showed otherwise. Chips arrived broken, flimsy, and stale. Nice stone ground corn quality but no flavor even after adding cheese and beans. Read more
