It sticks very well. You have to wait for it to develop full strength but that’s okay. Only time that would be a consideration is if you’re using it vertically to hang something. I was installing some rain guards on my truck windows and it came with some basic VHF tape. That tape fell off almost immediately, even with the prep work down to clean the area. Searched online and found that this was what I needed. I tried just a small section and it held on tight. Tried to remove it to put a bigger piece on the area and that was a struggle. I eventually got it off with some acetone and a scraper. The stickiness of the adhesive is very durable. I used this to apply carpet pieces to our stairs so our dogs won’t slip on the hardwood. The ease of application is a bit challenging as peeling the protective tape of is nearly impossible. I have tried bending it, splitting it in the middle, using a razor, wiggle it, but I eventually just have to rip it and lose some tape in the process.
