I bought the Hanke carry on for myself and the TydeCkare carry on for my daughter and both are great carry on bags. Bought both from Amazon and thought I'd compare the two. Cost: TydeCkare was 100 with a 10 dollar coupon so ended up at $90 Hanke was more expensive at $120 Both seem to fluctuate on price with coupons or special prime deals. Looks: The Hanke wins hands down with a great matte white that holds up well. The TydeCkare was a metallic blue that also looks nice but not as sleek. Function: The TydeCkare is actually slightly bigger as the front pockets on both are designed slightly differently. The end result means the TydeCkare has more space inside the luggage compartment with a similar space for the front pocket. I would add the design of the front pocket on both is amazing and gives you quick access to electronics, passports or whatever else you decide to put in there. Locks- the Hanke wins hands down as you can lock the front compartment and the main compartment separately and unlock one or the other as needed. The TydeCkare has one locking mechanism with loops for the other compartment. Both are secure but the Hanke is far easier and more convenient to use. Other comments- the TydeCkare has a slight issue with one of the zips sticking but I'm hoping that works itself out and both have only been used for one trip and both were fine. Overall I'm happy with the Hanke as it looks better and the locking function is more convenient. However, the TydeCkare was $30 cheaper and offers a little more space which is valuable for a carry on. I am a bit worried on the longevity of the TydeCkare but will update the review should I see issues in any upcoming trips. In summary- glad I picked the Hanke but the TydeCKare is a great alternative at a cheaper price. Read more

I was excited to use them for my long trip. Both luggage worked well at the beginning, but the big luggage did not hold up through out the travel. One of the wheel gave up and broke into the luggage, so I can’t really push it along. It was only my first time using it and it already broke on me. I wasn’t able to return it or exchange it because the time window for return has already passed. I just like the design of the carry-on luggage and it’s durability compare to the bigger luggage. Would not recommend the set for it’s price and the longevity of it’s usage. Update: After my review, I was contacted by the after sales team, and they were able to replace a new one for me. The whole process was super nice, the nicest people that I’ve ever contacted. I was asked to sent the picture of the broken part of the luggage, so they can make sure to reinforce that part of the luggage, improving its durability. I’m a happy customer. I liked the quality of the product, they feel solid and light at the same time. The color is both elegant and youthful. I bought this set because I wanted a carry-on bag with a front pocket and a hard shell. But it's not expandable, so it's not practical for short trips, but rather for one or two days. I have use this bag a few times since purchase, and it does appear to be sturdy enough for regular use. Of course, that depends upon just how rough any baggage handler might be with a bag, but it seems pretty strong. Wheels are good and this bag definitely moves easily in any direction. It is light weight construction, weighs next to nothing. I enjoy having the front pocket for laptop or iPad, that was very handy for quick removal of device just before placing bag in overhead bin. This is my first hard shell bag, so I did have to come to terms with the fact that there is slightly less storage in a hard shell than in a soft shell bag. That is not a fault of this bag, just something that became readily apparent after opening it up. This bag does come with one set of straps to hold items in place inside the bag, and also a full zippered separator to keep the other half of items in place. So the organizational aspects/abilities of this unit are nice. All in all, I am very happy with this. If I think about it, I’ll do another review after a full year of ownership to report back about how well it held up. Read more

I ordered this because the handle broke on my current carry-on w/ laptop pocket and needed a replacement in a hurry. This is a good value for the price. I've taken it on several trips and it's held up so far but I travel a lot and am worried about its long-term durability. The plastic seems a little cheap and at least one of the zipper pulls has fallen off, though the suitcase is still useable. Read more

Great carry on! FYI: It’s slightly larger than the allowed dimensions for a carry on of 14”X9”X22”. I really liked that the laptop compartment and the main compartment both had tsa locks. However, the pictures and videos showed the tsa lock differently than what was on my bag. The first picture is what I received (metal hoops to loop through the other locks) and the second one is what was advertised. It’s still a great bag with lots of compartments! Read more

After two years of monthly use: The wheels are still great quality, the internal organizer is very useful. The handle functions as intended. The zippers are holding up well. The hard case gets a new dent or gash just about every trip, and after two years the paint has scratched off all the corners. The laptop pocket is helpful but a little disappointing for longer work trips since it is very skinny and won’t hold many files or office supplies. Read more
