I love this RyanDesign 4.7 Inch Mini Frying Pan! Two eggs fit perfectly for frying or scrambling. I was a little confused by a couple of the product photos where it appears bigger, but the pan really is 4.7" in diameter. It's a handy, compact, little pan with a bakelite handle that stays cool to the touch. It's lightweight, but feels well-made and should be durable. This size works well for when I want a quick egg fry or a grilled cheese. I don't even use oil or butter ... both slide right out due to the nonstick 5-layer "granite coating". Cleanup couldn't be easier. I just do a quick wash of soapy water and rinse it rather than taking advantage of it being dishwasher-safe. I don't have an RV or go camping but I'd think it would be convenient for those as well since it's small and would pack away well. This little pan is absolutely perfect for what I needed. I just needed a small and portable frying pan for one person in order to make eggs, personal pancakes, and so on. I'm on the road a lot, so I usually take a camping stove with me. This little pan fits on it perfectly. And the nice thing about a little pan like this, on top of being great for a camping stove? I’m really impressed with this little pan! It’s the perfect size for single-serving cooking — whether I’m making one egg, a mini pancake, or a small portion of anything. The 4.7-inch surface heats evenly, and the 1.1-inch depth helps prevent spills, which makes breakfast quick and mess-free. The 5-layer granite coating is excellent. It’s super nonstick (definitely stronger than my other pans) and I love that it requires less oil. Food slides right off with zero effort, and the coating feels durable and scratch-resistant. The product pictures are wildly inaccurate for size. This is a one egg pan. Or 2 eggs if you want to make the world's tiniest souffle. The pan is so small that it's difficult to turn the egg over for "over easy". I mostly use it to reheat toppings for my salads. I'm very skeptical about the "stove to oven" claim. The handle does appear to be Bakelite, which can't be heated above 150°C (302°F), if even that much. "Heating Bakelite beyond its safe temperature range can release formaldehyde and other harmful chemicals, posing a health risk. Additionally, the material can become brittle and crack, leading to potential injuries." The non-stick coating works well. Heat control is poor due to the small size and thin steel. Don't walk away from this one. The pan is made from magnetic steel, so it should work on an induction stove (I didn't test). Read more

This 4.7-inch mini frying pan is perfect for quick, small meals. I use it on my gas stove and it heats evenly every time. It’s especially great for eggs! They cook well and slide right out without sticking. Sometimes I'm just not that hungry at dinnertime, and this pan is great for making one hamburger or a small omelet. The raised sides help to keep the grease from splattering out too much. I like using this pan when I don’t want to take out my bigger, heavier pans. It's lightweight and easy to handle. This is such a handy little pan. It’s great for a stove top but I found it particularly useful for melting garlic butter on a raclette grill. It’s lightweight, it’s nonstick as advertised, and it’s super easy to clean. Sometimes you want something that’s just the right size for the job and no bigger and this little pan is perfect for my needs. I do recommend paying attention to measurements, though, as some of the pictures in the listing might lead you to believe this is a full size pan and it’s very much not. Read more
