The media could not be loaded. Up for review today is the PLUWEL 4-in-1 alarm clock. Of course, it's more than an alarm clock, so not sure exactly what to call it. It's a clock, alarm clock, phone charger, bluetooth speak, and oh yeah, a light of many colors! First, it's a neat looking product. Colored khaki cloth wrap, wooden top and bottom, and a leather-like strap at the top. There's a band around the top from where the light comes. It's approximately 9" left to right, 5" front to back, and 3.5" tall. The clock numbering is white and can be turned on or off (I assume if you don't like the light while sleeping). You can have a 12-hr or 24-hr numbering format. The numbers are approximately 1.25" in height. It has basically two color modes: White and Colors (yes, I know white is a color, but go with me here.). For the white, you can decrease/increase the intensity. For the colors, you've got quite a selection: blue, light blue, orange, red, pink, green, rainbow. Oh, and you also get two swirly rainbow modes. For me, it's a bit much, but hey, some may like it. I like low white, red, and maybe the blue. The phone charging is easy. Just lay that phone down on top and voila, it starts charging. Oh, and a neat feature ... it sets the time for you once you start charging. This is, of course, also a bluetooth speaker. It's no Bose, but it's also not bad. It works when you want something a little louder than your phone speakers. Don't expect to rock the house, but at a moderate volume level, it's pretty decent. Again, this is not a Bose. Lastly, it's also an alarm clock. I likely won't use that feature as I use my phone anyway as an alarm clock, but hey, you could. You're supposed to be able to have the light come on with the alarm with the brightness adjusting incrementally the longer the alarm is going off. I didn't try. This would likely be a good gift for a kid or teen, but hey, some of. you adults might like it. It currently lists for $39.99. I would say that considering all that functionality, it's likely worth it as you would easily spend that (and more) for all the functionality you get with this device. When I ordered it, I mainly thought it would be cool to have an alarm clock with wireless phone charging. The Bluetooth speaker wasn’t a big selling point for me since I already have an Alexa in my bedroom, but I was completely wrong. When it arrived, the first thing I noticed was how beautiful the design is. Setting the time and alarms was very easy. My husband is a very sound sleeper and has trouble waking up in the mornings. He is usually late for everything if I don’t wake him up. This alarm clock has woken him up every morning. At first, I didn’t understand why there was a button to turn the clock display off, but after reading the instructions and using it, everything made sense. This clock does not have to stay plugged in, which makes it amazing. We will definitely be bring this camping this summer. You can use it as a fully portable Bluetooth speaker, and turning off the clock display helps save battery life. The handle makes it easy to carry anywhere. It has honestly become one of my favorite items in my house. I use it as my bedroom clock, but I also carry it to the garage, living room, and even brought it to my sister’s house to listen to music on her enclosed porch. While there, my phone died, and I was able to place it right on top to charge wirelessly. Yes, using it as both a speaker and charger drains the battery faster if it’s not plugged in, but it still lasted about 3.5 hours, and that was without using the lights. If you used the lighting effects, it would likely be a little less but still impressive. I also love the lighting options. You can choose a solid color or have it cycle through colors. I personally use the dim white light as a night light instead of cracking the bathroom door and turning on bright lights. I don’t see well at night when I wake up, so this has been a huge bonus. This is so much more than an alarm clock,it’s an alarm clock, Bluetooth speaker, wireless phone charger, and night light all in one. If you’re considering ordering it, do it.
