I've had this product for a couple of weeks now. It works great for me so far. The charging indicator lights work well and are easily visible. The lighting around the docking base is a cool effect with many options however, personally, it had no bearing on what enticed me to purchase this product. I've been able to play on a single battery charge for approximately 8-10 hours each time before my Xbox Series X notifies me that my battery is low so I'm very pleased with that. Of course it all depends if the games you're playing has your controller vibrating frequently and how intense that vibration is as to how long your particular battery charge may last though. I'm disabled so I get to play for long periods of time most days, unfortunately. I am the only player at my residence but I got this 4-battery system because it seemed like the batteries in the 2-battery ones would tend to not charge as well after only about 6 months. I got this one to see if the batteries would last longer since I wouldn't be using each battery nearly as often. I make sure I rotate which battery I use each time I have to change one out. It was only slightly more expensive than the 2-battery systems so I figured I'd give it a try. The charging dock is very easy to setup, and can be done in seconds. It’s compatible with both Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One controllers and also includes battery back plates in the box. These back plates replace your current ones and allow the controllers to charge on the dock when not in use. The frontal display is very helpful and will simultaneously show the charge status for each battery pack and each controller. Charge times are nice and fast so once the light goes green, you’re good to go, and can even swap on the go for long gaming sessions. So far it’s been a good little set up. Works with all of our Xbox controllers. (Xbox one, Xbox x and Xbox 360). Now the batteries are working and all that great mamajama buttttt they are a very tight fit. I know, I know a tight fit should be a good thing. But no! Once those babies are in, and I’m talking about digging deep and using some elbow grease here, they are not coming out! They are one with the controller now. If that battery ever starts messing up well I guess that will be a later me problem because it’s not coming out without force!!! And I’m not a dainty female by any means. I work out everyday and run 5 miles every morning. So I consider myself to be at least well qualified to put a battery into a controller. Lmao. But hey!! I’m a let’s look on the bright side kind of gal. Bright side being the kids won’t loose the batteries anymore!!! Bam! lol the extra backs that they include are a nice little token. I tried it on all controllers and they do fit. Again a little tight but not too bad. And definitely not as tight as the battery packs. But other than that it charges great with the controller sitting on the base. Can not comment on charging the batteries solo as again they are now one with those controllers. But my other battery packs that I do have (not this brand of course but have to point out) they charge well on this stand. So far this is a good charging station for my xbox one S controller. I like the fact it comes with several batteries and areas to charge.and if i get a better xbox it will also work well with that one as well. Definitely worth the money spent. Read more
