I haven't needed to recharge it since it came out of the box, it has a shockingly long abttery life and comes with all the charging material. They also give you a complimentary oil and will offer 2 more oils whcih I think is a very good deal. Overall, it has a good weight to it but its not so heavy I get tired massaging myself.
