I hate coming home from grocery shopping and having one of them ask, " did you get....?" when I had no idea we were out of it. Or my husband will buy meat or fish and come home and put it in the back of the fridge and not tell me he got it. By the time I do my bi-weekly clean out, they are past using. I got these and put one on each of the French doors. One for things someone gets that has a short 'use by date' and one for things that we are of out that I need to replace. I also have a second fridge in the basement for overflows during harvest or when there's a great sale. It's so nice to be able to tell at a quick glance what I need to be aware of without constantly opening the fridge. I've also put some on my deep freezer and make notes of left-overs I have frozen for quick meals. This has made my busy job so much easier. Now if someone doesn't make note of what they want, they go without, and I don't feel at all bad for it! They are a very sturdy high quality product and the magnetic backing really holds tight. Our fridge doors are opened and 'slammed' shut by my guys all day and they haven't slipped at all. The dry erase boards really do erase and the pens hold tight. There is just a small magnet at the top of the pen with a small eraser on it, and they really hold tight as well. There is a small bone shaped eraser that also has a magnet, but only one for all the boards, but that isn't a deal breaker as a tissue works just as well. They are well worth the investment. These are awesome!! They have a very strong magnetic back that holds to the fridge and doesn't slide around at all. Perfect size for to-do lists and chore charts. Markers are cute and most work well, a few colors are too light to see. Read more
I have been VERY happy with this purchase! We had an old dry erase board on our fridge for YEARS but the glue holding everything together eventually gave up. After looking at LOTS of replacement boards I ran across these on the Amazon website. Inexpensive. Simple. But would I like them? As it turns out, I don’t like them, I LOVE THEM! The lack of borders and thin design makes it feel like we’re just writing on the fridge! We use these things for everything in our house! Happy notes to each other, to do lists, shopping lists, appointments, reminders…. etc. Will they last 10 years like the other board? Who knows? What I can tell you is that after several months, the finish is still super smooth, easily erased and doesn’t appear to have any ghosting at all. We have never used any chemicals to clean it, only a dry eraser. The pens that came with it have held up well and we love the fact that they have magnets to keep them right on the board ready to use! My favorite part is that the entire back is magnetic, so it cannot accidentally be hit and knocked off. I appreciate how it also came with a variety of markers and an eraser, which are also magnetic. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I already have a magnet coming off a marker and it's been used less than 4 days. They are super tiny, so I'll have to determine what kind of glue to fix it that won't look like a sloppy mess. Read more
I keep these on my fridge and love them. Great for shopping lists, meal prep, notes, etc. They are also easy to push up against each other to create a larger workspace. The media could not be loaded. My husband was actually the one who purchased this magnetic dry erase board. At first I didn’t really understand why, since I usually keep my grocery list on my phone and we already keep a calendar on the fridge. It turns out he had a really sweet reason for buying it. He travels for work sometimes and wanted a place where he could leave little notes before he leaves. Now it has basically turned into our little “love note” board, and I honestly think that’s the cutest use for it. The board sticks to our fridge really well and hasn’t slid down at all. It’s also very thin, which I like because it doesn’t look bulky or stick out too much on the fridge. The markers write smoothly and erase without leaving any marks behind. Of course you could use this for a lot of practical things like grocery lists, reminders, or weekly notes, but I personally love the idea of using it as a place for little messages. I have a busy family and we needed a central location where we could write and change messages throughout the day. The refrigerator is the best choice. These magnetic white board sheets have a strong magnet that stays put with normal writing and erasing. The markers that were included also have a string magnet and has not fell from the refrigerator with multiple opening and closing of the door throughout the day. The dry erase sheet does not smear and leave color behind as many do. The size is perfect for our family and we have the added bonus of the additional sheets that were included if the need arises.
