Big men's cargo sweatpants

mark r nahraMarch 15, 2026

I am a big guy and love these big and tall cargo sweatpants. They are baggy wide leg and are excellent for tall people but I am shorter so I had to hem the bottom a little for me. Other than that they are very comfortable and nice to wear around the house or even to bad at night. Great value for the 4 pack set of pants and different colors. Read more

More like big and TALL tall, with how long they are

AmandaMarch 24, 2026

These aren't really sweatpants - they're more like pajama bottoms - and they are SUPER long. They are still soft and comfortable to wear, but they are thinner than "cargo sweatpants" should be, or what you expect they should be with "sweatpants" in the listing name. Husband said he wouldn't wear these to the gym because they feel and look like pajamas. Washed up fine, no pilling. Good price for the amount you get in one pack and the colors are nice. Read more

Four Pairs That Actually Fit — A Rarity Worth Talking About

Ken Craig-SaundersMarch 25, 2026

Finding comfortable, well-fitting sweatpants as a bigger guy is one of those problems that sounds simple until you've ordered a dozen pairs that don't actually deliver. Too tight through the thigh. Too short in the rise. Waistbands that cut in. Fabric that feels like you're wearing a garbage bag. I've been through all of it. So when this four-pack from August Alley arrived, I went in with calibrated expectations and came out genuinely pleasantly surprised. What I Liked The fit is where this set earns its keep. The sizing runs from XL to 5XL with a loose, relaxed silhouette designed to suit different body types. Amazon — and unlike a lot of "extended sizing" items that are really just a regular cut with a bigger number on the tag, the wide leg and baggy cut here actually work for a larger frame. There's room through the thigh and seat without the waist being absurdly oversized, and the open bottom means no awkward bunching at the ankle. It drapes cleanly. The elastic waistband with drawstring delivers a customizable fit that provides both flexibility and support Amazon — you can dial it in tight for a workout or loosen it up for a long day at the desk or on the couch. For a big and tall fit, especially, adjustability at the waist is not optional; it's essential, and this delivers. The pocket situation is legitimately good. Spacious cargo pockets on the sides plus hand pockets provide secure storage for phones, keys, and other essentials, with a reinforced pocket design that adds durability Amazon. I've had cargo pockets on cheaper sweatpants that flap around uselessly or detach after a few washes. These feel stitched with actual intention. The lightweight fabric is the right call for this style. The stretch fabric provides flexibility and comfort for everything from workouts to casual wear, Amazon, and it doesn't trap heat the way heavier fleece can. Living in Southern California, I need a sweatpants that works when it's 70 degrees, not just in the dead of winter. Getting four pairs in the pack matters more than it might sound on paper. The set includes four pairs in different colors to cover daily washing rotation needs. Amazon — black, black, dark mixed gray, light mixed gray in the colorway I received, which means you're genuinely stocked rather than rotating two pairs into the ground. Having multiples in colors that actually go with everything is a practical win. What Could Be Improved Colors may vary slightly from what displays on screen Amazon, so if you're particular about exact shading on the grays, know that what you get may read slightly differently in person than in product photos. That's true of almost every multi-pack like this, but worth noting. The lightweight fabric is a strength for warm weather, but these aren't going to be your cold-weather option. On a genuinely cool evening, you'll want something with more substance — these are three-season pants, maybe four in a mild climate, but not a deep-winter solution on their own. Check the size chart carefully before ordering from Amazon — the fit is generous, which is the whole point, but sizing across extended ranges can still vary, and getting the right fit from the jump saves the hassle of returns. Alternative Uses These work across a wide range of activities — gym sessions, hiking, travel, home lounging, casual errands, Amazon — and the wide leg open-bottom silhouette is current enough that they don't read as purely athletic. Throw on a clean tee or hoodie, and you can run errands without looking like you just rolled out of bed, which is the bar every good sweatpant needs to clear. Bottom Line August Alley figured out what bigger guys actually need in a sweatpant — real extended sizing that fits the way the size chart claims, adjustable waistband, functional cargo pockets, and lightweight fabric that doesn't smother you. Getting four pairs in a neutral color palette that covers your whole week makes this a practical wardrobe investment rather than just another single-pair gamble. If you've been frustrated by the usual extended-size options that don't actually deliver on the fit, this pack is worth a serious look. Recommended. Read more

Anoter August Alley Win

Ekim TopsedFebruary 21, 2026

Once again August Alley has not disappointed. I have a number of August Alley garnets and I have liked all of them and these cargo pants are not an exception. The pants are a size 2x and I wear a 3x. I must have not been paying attention when I ordered these. To my surprise, they fit nicely. The wide waist band helped to avoid any discomfort. I like the four pockets. Although the lower pockets that make these cargo sweats should have a button, zipper or Velcro secure any items very nice and adds much to the comfort. The quality of the material and the sewing of the material is very good. I don’t understand why you he to order four at a time. That seems to be to many if you only need one or two pair of sweats. That is my only complaint with August Alley , if seems most of there products are sole in bulk instead of individual items. Read more
