Great set to put in the truck. Convenient case to keep them all together. Each one has a solid plastic and rubber finish. Easy to turn on and off. Simple to find the light pattern that you need. The hook and the magnet are a great addition for multiple uses. Each one is the size of a hockey puck but maybe a bit thicker. Each one takes 3 batteries. They install is a little tricky due to it only fitting one way. Takes 2 bolts to pop it open with the smallest screwdriver I’ve ever seen that fits in the storage sleeve and is included. When closing these up make sure everything is aligned. That makes them waterproof. Overall a great addition to the truck for added safety. Good price for what you get. The media could not be loaded. Attached video is using two in my garage. Many Programs. Tested and re-tested all six purchased. All Worked Perfect. Just do not store the batteries in the unit as they will leak and damage it. I put my batteries in a Ziploc bag and stored them with the unit in the included case along with the included stubby screwdriver. Very Bright, attention grabbing to warn other drivers to proceed with caution. Could also use for camping, home emergencies to attract police or fire, etc. In daylight it does look like a toy, but at night it comes alive with the bright attention warning lights. Strong magnet on the back is very nice to attach it to the car. Especially if you have to drive slow with a donut tire, (because of a flat primary) you can place them on the top of the trunk to warn others as reasoning for the slow speed until you get to a safe location. (i bought the battery operated version) Great lights setting and brightness when operated with fresh batteries...the device seems to be made to resist some mild-moderate level of dust, rain or getting splashed on...NOT into the water submersion tho. The body have the right rubber bumpers and coating as to not scratch your vehicle when used gently (along with a hanging hook fold-out)...BUT the magnet part is exposed (it's a decently strong magnet)...so that may be a paint getting scratched issue if you are oprating the device like a cowboy (:D). - Overall, use good batteries that can withstand prolonged storage or add some dessicant packs to it when storing...also it is reasonably snug to pry open coz of the rubber seal...use a paint can opener or hard blunt edge to pry open at the notches...then align by the notches too as you screw it back...hand press the cover snugly to level before screwing the cover on (it comes with it's own mini finger/thumb philips screwdriver). I ordered a bunch of these years ago. Did actually use them in a breakdown at night and they were very effective. Went to change batteries in them and found a number of them were dead. Ordered a cheaper set and half of them were DOA and threatened seemed not that bright. Ordered these an all worked extremely well and very bright. Read more

Pros: Nice, bright lights. Good price as batteries are not included. multiple light functions. strong magnet for placement on metal surfaces. Soft outer coating makes it shockproof in case its dropped and will not scratch painted surfaces. Cons: Needs 3 aaa batteries each. Normal alkaline batteries tend to leak over time in hot car and may not work when needed. Rechargeables are normally ok, but you cannot charge your batteries in this unit and need to remove them to charge. Set includes a philips screwdriver. you need to remove 2 screws on each light to get to the battery compartment. Looking at possibly getting usb rechargeable type which costs more but easier to keep charged and always ready if needed. Read more

Total assembly time (adding AAA batteries) is about 10 minutes for the 6 pack version. Batteries are not supplied. Don't be alarmed by the water seal on the battery cover that makes it seem like you might be breaking the unit to get the cover off. These are great for replacing old school flairs or bulky reflectors and are visible for a long distance. I found a couple of the light patters to be more useful than others to maximize visibility from a distance. For ~$30 these are about the same price as road flairs or reflective warning triangles.
