I haven't needed to use these yet but I did charge all of them and put them in the little hook that comes with them. I have them in my emergency box. They will come in handy when power is lost at night. I can also see a use for them in camping. It is just very handy. The light is very bright. It is compatible with any screw-in light and charges in 8 hours, at least that is what I did to make sure it was fully charged. There is no way to see if it is fully charged and it would be nice if they had some indicator of this. I waited a couple months to write this review. I placed (4) bulbs in service the day they were delivered. About a week later, we had a power outage and none of the bulbs came on. Very unhappy about it and checked the comments later and found out the switch has to be on before the power goes out. That info came in handy the next week. But now two of the bulbs went out.
