I thought I would wait a bit before I reviewed these lights. I have to say, I'm glad I did--these lights are amazing. I have them installed in my pole barn, and I replaced the old four bulb fluorescent fixtures. I had six old fixtures in the barn, and they would take a bit to warm up on cold midwestern days. I got the old lights out and wired up the outlets for the new lights. The new lights are a plug-and-use. You will have to screw the stainless-steel screw into light housing. The light also has a steel line safety rope attached to the housing, and you can attach the rope to a frame/rafter/joist. I ran my J-hooks into the joists, hooked the lights to the hooks and plugged the lights in. The lights came on instantly. Very bright! Very crisp white light was beaming down on me. I love that I do not have a hum from the old light fixtures, and no more replacing blubs. The price for the four pack is super reasonable. I actually have MORE light with the four-light set-up versus my old six fixture light set-up. Having used these lights in the cold Midwest Spring, and during our hot and humid summers, I would be very confident in recommending the lights. Great price point, as well! Soon as I saw these I jumped on them. I have a very large barn and workshop/warehouse on our farm about 7800 sq ft. I have a lot of older metal halide fixtures and have been slowly changing them over to LED. These are smaller than I really like but wow, they are so bright! They are well made and appear to be good at heat dissapation which can be an issue here as the high ceiling gets very hot in the summer. These come with a cable lanyard which makes hanging super easy. I just hooked to to the old metal halide bracket and it worked fine. I did cut off the plugs and hardwired them but that is easy peezy...Only question will be ho long they last, thats been an issue with a few I have with some of the leds going dark and getting dimmer. These will be on about 10hrs a day so they will get a quick workout...Up against the metal halide light these are a little more of a daylight color but brightness compares to the 350w M/halides (almost).
