These are great for sleeping & around the house. They are thin and lightweight, but not cheaply made, they even have little preparations in them so also great for summer. I am at the menopause age, so I love them.. if you’re looking for support, these may not do it for you, but if you are looking for comfort, stretch and breathability, these are definitely for you! Also would like to point out that these are the NOT the thick limited stretch sports bra that you find a lot of places. Came very fast and packed nicely. I love the feel of these. I bought these as I am highly alergic to the nickel in the bra's metal underwire. Soft but super stretchy in just the right spots where you need it and feels good as they hold everything in! I love the breathability of the fabric and the mesh venting. This item is sold as if it will work with a USA extra as a two X. Meaning, the sizes are so far off for a full figured short statured woman without broad shoulders. It is says that it is the D cup family with the 38 bandwidth but it is not. I tried one on and found out that it is one and a half size too big. I put it on atop an older better fitting item that bought back in 2010 at the size of a large which is where the normal US D cup ranges with a 38 band falls. It loosens up too after barely a few hours and this is due to the excessive use of recycled materials and no real compression for lift even at the low end of compression for these bras. Amendment: go down two sizes due to this material- even for sleep where it is still supposed to be a shaper because the sizes on the chart do not work for anyone. Read more
The size chart is true, so long as you measure yourself properly and honestly. These have just the right support for sleep, which is the purpose for which I purchased them. Not much compression, which I don't want when I'm sleeping anyway. I wear a 40 DDD, and the XXL fits almost perfectly. My left side is my heavy side, and it is almost too small there, but it strikes a very good balance between the two sides. I can barely tell I have anything on, but I'm not hurting myself in my sleep anymore. The mesh is wonderful for warm nights. I can actually feel airflow through my nightgown as if I weren't wearing any bra at all. Granted, it's cotton. I don't know how well it would breathe through synthetics, given that it's a synthetic, itself. My favourite mesh part is the little triangle at the cleavage. No more trickles to wake me up in the (almost) summer heat. The colours are beautiful and fast. I never cared for softer colours, but these aren't so soft as to be washed out. It's a true pastel, with all the richness you'd expect. No leeching into my washing, either. In short: I wanted a comfortable sleeping bra to provide minimal support. I got that, plus pretty.
