I picked up the red ones, and they look sharp against the black-and-white body of the controller. They're sleek looking without being over the top. They pop into place without the need for any tools or disassembly. You don’t have to touch the sticks or dig around inside the controller. You just line them up with the holes on the back and press gently until they click. In terms of feel, they’re slightly lighter than the OEM paddles but not in a way that makes them feel cheap. They feel the same level of responsiveness and sit firmly in place. They don’t wiggle around during play as I thought they might, not being made by Sony. The ergonomic curve is cool; they fall naturally under your fingers and you don't need weird grip adjustments. All said, I'm not sure I wouldn’t call them an UPGRADE over the official paddles. These are nice paddles for your PS5 edge controller. They fit EXACTLY like the paddles that come with the edge controller. They are the same shape and size as the paddles that come with the edge controller. Except now you are some style on your paddles. I selected the gold color for my black PS5 edge controller. And while most of the time these are hidden under the controller, it's nice to know that things are looking good. Installation is simple, just the same as the other paddles. Everything is just great. The pictures make this pretty obvious, but just in case you are wondering, this is not a shiny metal gold finish. This is a painted gold color. However, my worries were not to be the case. These are exact replicas of the paddles for the dual sense edge and they are made of metal so they are very sturdy and well made. They fit perfectly right in the slots as they're supposed to. I'd recommend these for anyone with an edge controller just so you have backup. Plus they come in different colors so you could customize your controller. I have the midnight black dual sense edge and the gold looks great in contrast with the black. For the price and the quality, this is a no-brainer for any edge controller user out there. Look just like the originals just in your favorite color. I snuck the blue ones on my son's controller and of course he didn't even notice because who really looks at the back of their controller like that?
