We bought this chandelier for our living room which has 11 foot ceilings. It came ASSEMBLED! All of the arms were put together, only thing we had to do was attach the rod for it to hang down. The rods come in several sizes so you can adjust how low it is in your room. It is quite wide, which we like, but be mindful of this when you order. The color is a nice brushed gold so not shiny brass, it looks great in my opinion. My husband is not an electrician and he got this hung in about 10 minutes so I would say the instructions were clear enough and overall this was easy to use. For the money, it is an impressive piece!
