This works very well for what it is, but you could get a better one that would do more for you for $20-30 more. Admittedly, it is my fault, but I bought this item in a rush to get something to my door for work and had initially thought this inverter had two more 110V plugs on the top and that the unit had a cord that ended in both a 12V cigarette lighter plug *and* a 110V plug in case you have one in your vehicle. I was mistaken, however; it only has two USB C outlets (one fast charge 30W and the other a trickle charge) and two USB 2.0 outlets on the top face, and only two 110V outlets on the front face. That said, even acknowledging my mistake, I have used this inverter now for about a month or so to charge multiple products at once and it seems to keep up with the demand so far. Pros: - Has a long cord, which can stretch from the cigarette lighter plug to wherever I need it in the vehicle, including the bed of my truck if needed. - Red LED display window showing output average - Charges quickly and consistently, even when vehicle is off - Green LED lights show it is plugged in and functioning in the dark - Has both USB C and standard USB 2.0 outlets mounted in the top of the brick, plus two 110V outlets mounted in the front face. Cons: - Even being on the smaller size as far as power inverters go, this unit is bulky and difficult to mount in a vehicle. - Constructed of cheap plastic, which may be prone to melting if the unit gets hot enough. - IMPORTANT: It does NOT have a cooling fan. - While the cord length is great for most applications, I have to use it in the front of my truck's cab which is also where my 12V outlet is. This makes the excess cord length very annoying to deal with. It really needs a wrap or a tie included with it. - Only one 30W USB C fast charge port - 110V outlets are too closely spaced together, making having more than one standard block plugged in at a time difficult - Feels on the cheap side as far as quality goes (light, hollow) and not of great quality, but time will tell. - Really needs a way to mount this in the vehicle better so that it is more convenient to use. - I could very well be incorrect, but there do not seem to be any overload or safety features built into this inverter, at least that are obvious. It has not caught fire yet, though, even under heavy load. - Does not come with a way to plug into a 110V outlet, only into a 12V cig lighter outlet. If you need that functionality, this is not the inverter for you. - USB charging outlets come out of the top instead of the same face as the standard plug outlets, making it awkward to handle if using all of the ports at once. - 12V plug is awkwardly long and does not "lock" into place, causing it to pull out if accidentally tugged on or bumped. - None of the outlets have covers, flaps, inserts, or any other way to keep dust, moisture, or other miscellaneous detritus out. - Does not have an on/off switch. It is either plugged in and on, or it isn't. - I have not tested it, but I would deign to guess that this thing is most certainly not waterproof. Overall: Though I cited more cons than pros, I still think it is a great product for the price after using it for about a month. It isn't anything special, but it gets the job done. If you only need one or two extra plugs in your vehicle, and only one thing needs to be charged quickly, this is a great option. The Vansoet 12v to 120v 400W power inverter is a power station for your car. It has a red digital display that will show you the car battery voltage in real time when you plug the power cord into the power port or cigarette lighter of your car. You want to pay attention to this number so you always have enough voltage to start your car. There is an on and off button that lights up large green LEDs to let you know the power station is powered up and the power stations 120 Volt plugs are available. It has two USB 3 ports and 2 C ports for charging your devices. The two 120 volt AC plugs are not electrified unless the switch is on and you plug something into the plugs. You can charge up anything that requires a AC 120 volt plug. For example, a fan or your laptop or a power tool battery charger. What you shouldn’t plug in is anything that will pull a lot of amps such as a heater, a heating pad or anything that produces heat and pulls more than 1.5 amps or around 200 watts which is what each plug is rated for. Doing so will pull too much power from your car battery and you may not be able to start the car. I use this in my work truck to charge my laptop, cell phone, and my fiber splicer all at 1 time and it holds up great. Had it for a little over 8 months now and its still going strong. The built in Port C charger is so amazing. My phone charges so fast! Definitely would recommend this to anyone who travels alot in their car. Its very quiet when working, its pretty small so it doesn't take much room, the price is definitely worth it, it works well with any thing that needs charging, and so far it doesn't heat up or anything so it is safe to leave on overnight if need be.
