Solid replacements for the "official" ones—I get wanting to go with first party refills for some things, but for what are essentially plastic bags, save some money and get these. What can I say about these refill bags other than they are a great option for the replacement bags for the pet genie. They fit perfectly into the genie, the quality is perfect and they're easy to use. They contain the odor coming from the pet waste - we live in the south with very high temps and humidity. I keep the pet genie on our back patio close to our back door. We don't have any lingering smell. We even discard the waste from the indoor cat litter boxes into this - absolutely does what it says it will do....it contains the waste, no leaks, and no nasty smell! I finally got to open this one and try it out. I have been using the brand-name version for the Pet Genie, but I decided to try this option since it was available. It fits the Pet Genie system with no issues, and there is an arrow pointing to where to pull the bag from to get it started. It seems to be a bit thinner than the brand, but so far no issues. These are great. Work just as well as the "name brand" Litter Genie refills, and they're actually compatible with both the new and old pails. Scent blocking is about as good as any other refill, which is to say not great but fine for what it is—just don't put a full bag in your indoor trash bin and let it sit for days. Durability is, again, about what you would expect from the competition. They, seemingly, all use the same transparent blue material you're already familiar with if you have one of these pails and need a refill. They, likewise, are just as easy to open and install into the pail. Same size, same capacity, etc. etc. More or less, what I'm saying is that you could probably throw the name brand label on these and never notice the difference. I'm good with that, because those refills are pricey, and you can just buy these instead. I welcome the competition. Read more
