45 Christmas Deluxe Leg Lamp

This lamp is AMAZING! So fun! I gave it as a gift last year and I wanted to get my own so badly. Maybe I will this year! This lamp makes me want a big front window to display it in to show off to the whole neighborhood! It was because of this lamp, that I signed up for the Amazon credit card (which I haven't regretted due to the amazon dollars I get back for each purchase). When I signed up for the credit card, I got $100 free which helped cut down the cost of this item. Whether I had the free cash or not, this lamp was worth it. Even the box was sooo cute! The recipient LOVED the gift and kept it up all year. I remember it being a little tricky to figure out how to install the lightbulb and it required a trip to the store to get the right size bulb but a small price to pay for this beautiful lamp. High quality "Electric Sex" straight from the movie. Actually, these lamps have a leg that is more slender than the movie version, probably reflecting cultural preferences over time. Although they are shipped in cardboard boxes and not the wooded crate of movie fame, both boxes are marked FRAGILE in bold large letters, adding to the fun of receiving them as a gift. The lamp looks fantastic in any window and makes me smile every time I walk in to the room. My wife and I received this as a gift 3 or 4 years ago and we both agree it is our favorite Christmas decoration by far. This year we decided to buy one for each of our daughters' families. They love it!! The only negative is the price. Plus it is not an Amazon Prime free delivery. That brings the cost up to $310 more or less. You won’t be disappointed with the lamp. No regrets whatsoever despite it being a little pricey but the quality justifies the cost. I’ve been wanting to get one for a few years. I found the perfect light bulb to add to the 1940s look. A soft amber light. It came in a 4-pack but it’s the perfect bulb in my opinion. It’s a full size bulb for the top. (I’m gonna use the other 3 bulbs for target practice with my Red Ryder Range 200 Shot BB gun). The lampshade is also high quality. (Lamp comes with a bulb in the base already). Neporal Amber Light Bulbs 4PK, 9W 60 Watt Equivalent, Blue Blocking Light Bulbs 1800K, Soft Warm Sleep Light Bulbs A19, Amber Night Light Bulb E26 for Bedroom and Baby Nursery Light Price was the same even if you bought it direct from the manufacturer and not on Amazon. Both sites had the same shipping charge. FYI, if you can wait, order after Christmas. It will be cheaper. Won’t have it for this year but for next. I paid $169 plus $30 shipping on November 1st.
