This vest is amazing; I just received it in the mail and I already love it. The weight is distributed properly to limit stress on the back, knees, and shoulders! Even though it says shipping will take 2-3 weeks, I received mine 2 weeks early!! Only took 8 days to get here and I am impressed with the quality of this vest. I currently workout at home and mostly use bodyweight training. I felt it was time to add some weight and after about a month of searching decided on this. This vest can be incorporated in to most of my workouts and i have already started to see gains, both in terms of strength and size. It is also more comfortable than I thought since I have seen reviews of other with this complaint. It is costly but if you need a good piece of home workout equipment it is highly recommended. Wow, I have used it only for a week, ran with it, did pull ups, push ups, dips, squat jumps, I'm only 155lbs used only 20-25 lbs for the above exercises, and was sweating faster and doing half the reps I felt I got a great workout , on top of a very nice vest that is put together and made very well. Amazing quality, but so heavy. Great for push ups or pull ups and you can even run in it if you secure it tightly enough. I would still recommend the 45lb version since the weights are so easy to remove. Read more

Im 5'9 140lbs lean. Only complaint is i get some minor chaffing on my lateral pecs when doing pullups. Cant imagine if i didn't get the narrow vest. Read more

I enjoy working out with the TRX because I can do so outside and because at 56 using my own body weight makes good sense. However, I was forced to up my reps to get a decent work out, and at a certain point, I didn't think I was realizing the benefits I wanted, ergo, my interest in a weight vest. And in fact the V-Force has considerably improved my use of the TRX. So if you're a TRXer, you need to get one! I priced several weight vests, and though the V-Force was more expensive than the others, I was impressed by the reviews it received. So I paid the extra bucks, and I think that it's worth the price.
