I’m absolutely thrilled with this Light! It looks even better in person than in the photos. Love the look and the "adjustability" of this fixture. Just be prepared/plan to have a second person to help you mount this to your j-box on the ceiling. I did it myself but would have been a lot (really, a lot lot lot easier) with a helper. Otherwise, I love it and the fact that you can adjust the kelvin/brightness. Read more

I'm not sure why everything has to come with a remote now. It does work with the wall switch but it does not seem to remember your remote setting consistently. If you turn on and off the switch normally it will work without the remote on the color you want; however once you turn it on and then off (before the 20 minutes the vendor suggests) it forgets the setting and then starts cycling through colors again with each toggle. This can be somewhat avoided by never turning off the light quickly after it turns on. That being said, the default light is very close to 4k color and fairly bright... I was worried it was going to clash with other 4k led in the kitchen but it looks great. Lastly, if you have an air vent next to it it may sway more than normal; we had to angle ours just a little different and now it's perfectly still in motion. The wood exterior feels elevated versus other linear metal modern options. I think the installation was easy (hardest part was hiding 6+ feet of wire inside the tiny base and leveling it). The instructions are written very poorly (why does it say "douse the glim" instead of just "off"...). Also, the screws it came with for the bracket is too narrow, it did not catch the hole in the bracket it came with- I had to use the existing bracket screws with the new bracket to have it catch. Overall, design is great on actual item. Remote is a negative for me, as well as it doesn't remember the settings consistently if you need to change it other than 4k color. The instructions are a negative as well as the translations are poor. I can see the hot spots of the led strip behind the acrylic plate on some of the dimmer settings (this makes it feel cheaper unfortunately and should of been avoided with a more opaque acrylic cover). This is one of the higher priced led lights (probably because of the wooden exterior), they should fix the led strip hot spots, get clearer instructions & tweak the settings on the memory when using the toggle and it would be perfect. The light looks amazing, and the adjustability of the light temperature is an excellent feature. I thought higher temp would be better for the pool table, but seeing it installed, I think closer to 4k is best. Now I can adjust it day by day for any situation. Read more
