Despite not being "recommended" for use over carpet, I needed something under my desk to save my wall-to-wall carpet from me wheeling my chair over it all day long, so I purchased this rug. I bought it more for how beautiful it was than for functionality, although it is working well. It does bunch up from time to time, but I expected that to happen beach I was placing it over carpet. But the colors are beautiful, and it is super soft on my bare feet. Plus the size is perfect in that the wheels of my desk chair don't get caught on the edges and it covers the power strip going from my desk to the wall. All in all I am very pleased. The only thing I wish is that it didn't ship folded as it has creases where it was folded and it seems like they might be there permanently. Read more

Exactly as described and pictured. Color was accurate, grippy underneath, size is perfect for my desk/chair. Very happy with this purchase. This works well as a chair mat and looks better than the typical hard plastic ones. The dark green color is nice and the rug is soft under the chair while still protecting the floor. It keeps the chair from scratching up hardwood or tile, and the slip-resistant backing does a decent job keeping it in place. The low pile makes it easier for the chair to roll compared to thicker rugs, though it’s not quite as effortless as rolling on a hard plastic mat. It still moves smoothly enough for normal desk use. The size works well for a standard desk setup, and being washable is a nice bonus. It’s way nicer than expected! Super soft. I have it under my sewing table to muffle some of the sound for my downstairs neighbors. I sew barefoot so it’s nice to have something lush under my feet. It also allows me to use my rolling chair without having to use any plastic mat! I would definitely buy again and I highly recommend.
