The media could not be loaded. This is a dual-channel (front and back) dash cam with 4K front + 2.5K/1080P rear resolution. It's a budget/mid-range 2-channel car camera featuring a 3.16-inch IPS screen, built-in 5G WiFi, GPS, a 64GB card included, G-sensor for impact detection, loop recording, night vision (night enhancement), 170° wide-angle front lens, and 24-hour parking monitoring (with hardwire kit). Pros: - Front camera in true 4K (as marketed) captures sharp details like license plates in daylight. - Rear in 2.5K/1080P provides good coverage for rear-end incidents or tailgaters. - Dual front + rear recording covers both directions simultaneously, great for accident evidence, insurance claims, or rideshare drivers. - 5G WiFi for app control (VIidure App), live view, and easy video downloads/sharing via smartphone. - Built-in GPS logs speed/location for added proof in disputes and provide peace-of-mind. - Comes with a 64GB card (saves you buying one separately). - 3.16" IPS screen for easy setup, playback, and menu navigation without always needing the app. - Enhanced night mode + WDR helps in low-light conditions. - 170° front field of view minimizes blind spots. - Affordably priced for the feature set (4K dual + GPS/WiFi/parking mode). - 24H monitoring (time-lapse) for security when parked (requires hardwiring). - Additional features available in the Viidure app. Things to consider: - Firmware updates may be inconsistent, non existent or slow. - Real-world performance (especially zoomed-in license plates or in motion/night) can be average (or over-hyped) on cheaper sensors (common). - Motion blur or compression artifacts possible compared to top-tier models. - App connection can be buggy or slow/difficult pairing. - Camera wiring and/or installing can be tricky, setting aside some time is recommended (especially for new users). - Can feel too plasticky and possible heat buildup during extended use. - Requires separate hardwire kit (not included) for full 24H function. - No touchscreen capability. (button functions only). For a budget-friendly dash cam, the video quality is surprisingly good, with clear results, and it delivers. Installation was straightforward and took only about 30–40 minutes with two people. The included tools made the process quick and hassle-free, though keep in mind that install time can vary depending on your vehicle. I'd suggest giving yourself extra time, just in case. Pairing the camera to the app can be a bit tricky at times. If you're already connected to your car's Bluetooth (like I usually am) or other devices auto-connect, the camera's Wi-Fi connection often lags or gets overridden by the car system. To connect successfully, the camera needs to be powered on, in Wi-Fi mode (blue light will blink and stay on when connected), and the vehicle must be parked, not moving. The app is completely free and includes several convenient features without requiring any subscription. That said, there are multiple (and optional) paid upgrades that offer excellent extra benefits - all reasonably priced and, in my opinion, well worth considering. It's not perfect, and the connectivity quirks can be mildly frustrating, but when you factor in the impressive video quality, useful app features, and the affordable price, it's a worthwhile dash cam option. This dash cam is a solid option for the price and offers a good mix of features and functionality. The video quality is clear both front and rear, and the wide view angles do a nice job capturing the road and surroundings. Installation took a little time, but it wasn’t overly difficult. I did have some trouble getting the rear camera to stick properly on my hatchback window at first. Reinstalling it between the defrost lines and using a stronger 3M adhesive solved the issue, and it’s been secure since. The included features like GPS, WiFi connectivity, loop recording, and parking monitor add a lot of value. The app is easy to use and makes reviewing footage simple and convenient. Overall, this is a good quality dash cam with strong functionality and clear video, especially for the price. Just be prepared to spend a little extra time on installation, particularly with the rear camera placement. Read more
