Honestly, this dash cam has been great so far. The front 4K video is super clear, and the inside and rear cameras pick up everything in detail. Even at night the picture looks good thanks to the STARVIS sensor. I didn’t have to buy anything extra because it already comes with a 64GB card, which was a nice surprise. Setup only took a few minutes, and I like that I can pull videos straight to my phone with the 5GHz WiFi. Parking mode and night vision make me feel a lot more secure. People are wild on the roads, so I’ve been interested in getting a dash cam for some added peace of mind. I had the opportunity to try this one out. The camera has both a front camera, back camera, and interior camera; I like this. The field of view is pretty good and the picture quality is fine. The “night vision” works well and provides a decent image. Installation was easy and you’re provided with the tools to tuck the wires into your headliner for a more clean and finished look. The camera is powered by your car’s cigarette lighter. One of the cons would be the mounting angle. While the camera pivots and adjusts, the angle of the windshield doesn’t allow much movement due to the shape and size of the camera. Another item of note is the camera runs HOT - like very hot. Possibly from the DC current of the power source; but when you combine that with the heat of the sun beating down on the camera, I can’t imagine the internal components of the camera lasting very long. Time will tell. The video is recorded to a microSD card (included) and there’s also an app you can download. Personally, I won’t download random apps from companies that I’ve never heard of, so I can’t speak to the app or its functionality. As I said in the beginning, this camera was added for some additional peace of mind. I think it’s probably comparable to similar dash cams that you could find on Amazon or any retailer. If you’re looking to try out a dash cam that covers the front, back, and inside of your vehicle, this may be something to consider. Thanks! Read more
