I can easily capture crucial details like license plates and traffic signs because the footage is so clear, day or night. My driving experience is further improved by the larger field of view provided by the fully integrated camera. For my Acura RDX, this dash cam has been fantastic and has above all expectations. It fits into the car like a factory-installed item and was very simple to install. Even at night, the 4K video clarity is breathtaking, and the 64G card that comes with it offers plenty storage. I especially appreciate the accompanying app and built-in WiFi, which make watching and downloading videos much more practical. This dash cam is unquestionably one of the best improvements we have made, and it has made my family feel safer when driving. However, I believe the price is well worth it considering the degree of coverage and dependability it provides. I think the corresponding Android app is great and really easy to use. Additionally, the camera's user interface is easy to use and enjoyable. Navigating and adjusting the settings is easy. This dash cam appeared to be installed straight out of the box when I installed it on my Acura. The 64 GB card that was included was a nice bonus, and the 4K footage is incredibly sharp even at night. The dash cam is simply amazing for an Acura RDX. What this dash cam does that other dash cams do not is how integrated look this is, after finishing the installation. Unless I look very carefully or other people who are not familiar with an Acura RDX then they wouldn't be able to figure out that there is a dash cam built into the rearview mirror housing assembly. The installation is very easy because of this but the time it took was a bit longer because of the precaution I was taking to prevent any scratches or breakage. All in all, this is a great design idea with the dash cam pointing straight ahead which is quite amazing and functions really well to capture what is in front of the vehicle. Don’t know how it’s possible to make such a poor listing. I have a 2022 Acura, as stated to be compatible in the listing, and I go ahead and buy this. I get everything ready for the mirror, but find out that the pins don’t match. The listing also says that you get a rear camera, which you don’t. Horrible product, and the installation video is also terrible; it’s short and skips over the most hard part. Don’t buy this, I’m assuming they just mass-market this, and don’t bother putting in the right specifications for the vehicle. Read more

If you’re willing to do without a rear-facing camera, this is an easy install and as inobtrusive a front-facing dash cam as you can get. It replaces the rearview mirror shroud at the top of your front window with a new plastic shroud that differs only from the OEM shroud in that it contains a 4K camera with the camera lens emerging from the shroud and pointing forward. Best of all, there are no external wires because power for the dash cam comes off a power cable that’s already in the original rearview camera shroud. The dash cam comes with a Y cable that attaches to the the original power cable and provides power for the dash cam along with the original component. Be aware that the camera time stamps video, but lacks a GPS receiver and thus does not provide GPS location to the video. If you want GPS location stamping you must run an app that tracks your location so that it can correlate location with time on downloaded video files. I don’t like apps that require constant location tracking, and if you’re concerned about location privacy, this may not be the dash cam for you if you want your video location stamped. You can go without the tracking and avoid the privacy issue if you so choose…. The 4K camera is not HDR, but night vision works OK. A good camera. A great install. Just be aware that you can’t add a rear camera. This cam doesn’t have the ability to add a second camera feed. If you want rear recording, get another dash cam. This one doesn’t allow the option of adding a second camera. Read more
