I was looking for a simple inexpensive basic dash cam and found it! Important to me was 4k recording and by just powering up the camera it would start the recording process. In addition, the app was also EZ to download and pair with the camera and downloading clips work brilliantly and video quality is excellent. The camera is small and compact and doesn't interfere with your field of vision. My only complaints is the audio messages from the cameras speaker is horrible. You can only record up to a maximum 3 minute clip, I would have preferred an option for something much longer. Read more

The dash cam is fine. It is the "FrameFox" app that you must use to operate this unit. In order to use the FrameFox app, you have to agree to give FrameFox permission to use your personal information from your phone. Therefore, if you are having a private conversation with your spouse in your vehicle and the mic picks it up from the dash cam, your conversation is fully accessible and useable by the FrameFox app and it's producers. I installed this on an S-650 Mustang because of the compact size. It connected easily to the factory USB port located behind the rear view mirror. The app installed fine, the set up was straight forward. It xcame with all of the parts and pieces for the install. I really had no issues with performance of the camera, but, it wasn't fully hidden behind the rear view mirror, as I thought it might be. Every time I looked into the mirror, I saw the camera and it was a distraction. So, I removed it and installed a dash cam that was integrated into the interior trim of the S-650. I am going to install this camera in another car that I own. Read more
