For the price this should be much better. The user interface is clunky and slow! The unit I received wouldn’t even connect to WiFi despite whatever I did. Overall this price is way too high for the level the quality you get. Idea is great, implementation is poor. Also the whole camera unit got very warm borderline hot within minutes. After some 20 attempts to get it to logon to various WiFis I decided to return it! I bought other similar product arrived the NEXT day with FREE shipping and that actually worked the FIRST time! What makes a great seller is when things go wrong, not when everything is perfect. I ordered this and it took about a week to get. I tried to unscrew the terminals and one was good, the other wouldn't. I was hesitant about getting a replacement but went ahead anyway. I am glad I did. Within 30 min the seller called me to see what the problem was, he confirmed that it was defective, apologized and got the replacement in the mail the same day. I received a shipping label to return the item and shipped it out. I received the item a little sooner than before. I have other cameras and I am familiar with how to set up the cameras, so the set up was easy for me. I also do my own electrical work and the only thing that made me nervous was that I didn't shut off my power to install it. (Your should shut your power off to install this.) The picture is decent quality. The only gripe is that the night vision isn't great. Makes sure and purchase an SD card when you buy this, the max is 128gb. I haven't tested the motion detection, but I am very happy with it so far, and even happier with the seller. I definitely will buy agian from him. You can't even tell that it's there! Read more

This is a great product. I’ve been using it now for three months and I have no issues whatsoever with the camera, however what I do have a problem with is the HDlive app. I have the cloud and a Ss card and for the first two months everything worked fine now even with plenty of self space I can go back a review the Ss card like before and the cloud doesn’t record all day like the Sd card. The settings are always changing by themselves. It’s very frustrating to make matters worse there is no one to contact to get assistance! Read more
Device is very discreet and works well. A few issues may affect your experience but they all can be solved. Especially since the customer support is top notch and is actually interested in your success. If you need such a device, I can recommend this one. Having said that, they currently only offer a rounded recepticle and only in white. Hopefully there will be a more diverse selection in the future. Read more
I connected it as indicated (black or hot wire to the gold screw and silver to the white or neutral plus the ground on the green ground terminal) and downloaded the app. I was able to see it function as it should for the first 2 hours. After that, it showed offline. I pulled it out of the wall only to see it was dead. I tested the wires and they were still powered but the camera was completely dead. Read more
Product was a PITA to install (mostly the home electrical was the issue, but the pictures of the products don't show you that only one of the hot and neutral terminals can be used, which was also unexpected). I swore that I saw somewhere this had a preinstalled SD card, but that is not the case. Didn't look before installed. Picture is great though! Read more
