These hydrangea stems are unbelievably real looking -and feeling. The manufacturer even went to the detail of creating fake pruning marks on the stems! Everything about these hydrangea stems screams REAL! I grow mop head hydrangeas myself and am still blown away by these faux ones. Even better, I can have hydrangeas in the house in the spring - which is way, way before I have real ones up here in the mountains of NC. Fluffing the flowers took about 20 seconds each. Seriously. I ordered several hydrangeas from many different vendors on Amazon and from other places. Out of all the artificial hydrangeas these ones turned out to be the most real feeling. All others are like paper where the flower part of this item was soft and felt real. The stem looks plastic and not real but all of the other ones I ordered had the same issue so I kept these of all of them. These were a bit steep in price compared to others.
