They hold on and the rare earth bracket beats suction cups.
I have a Dash Cam. Their magnetic holder works very well, much better than suction cups. In extreme weather the stay in place. Extra metal plates are great if you travel in different vehicles. Reasonably priced so as to be used and left in rental vehicles. Buying extras is worth the price. Read more
