Questionable Suction for the Face
I’m familiar with body cupping and have used glass, plastic and silicon cups. But I’ve never used facial cups before and figured this set, at $6 would be a good, low cost place to start. I lubed up my face and followed a facial cupping expert I follow on IG. To be honest, i felt a little nervous about the suction. I think only the small cups are appropriate for face, the larger ones, I actually used on my traps and neck, they were too suction-y for the face. I would personally avoid that level of suction for the face, as I would be nervous they'd leave those dark red cupping marks you see on peoples' upper back and shoulders. I do think when using something like this, having instructions, warnings, etc would be helpful. Facial cupping should be guided and done with care. Also, the images are weird - they just photoshopped the cups into different locations. You can’t really get a good sense of the size. I tried to put everyday objects next to them so you could get a sense of their actual size. The quality is good and they seem to be durable, but i don't think I'll be using them again.
