Good item for foot patrol. The extra lining on the belt holder along the waist is lovely when clipping items. For me I clip on my glass case protector. I am not fond of the Velcro but the magnets on pants occasionally sticking to things can get annoying. This item does fade, after a few washes you will notice, and it will not be pristine black. After a few months of washing once a week my pants appear to be jean colored black. That being said the item fit well, it is thick and has a nice stretch to the waistband so it will maintain whatever duty belt or snug fit that needs to be had in the need to layer for winter. In 40 degree Fahrenheit weather, in the mist and wind, my legs were fine with a pair of sweatpants under these pants. I am hoping the extra lining outside of the belt loops becomes the new norm for 5.11 Note. The Horn button closure for pants threw me off. Used to having to button up my pants. Got used to it, kind of prefer it now. Note. Could have used more Horn buttons for the cargo pocket area. Read more
They run large. The self adjust band is great. I usually wear a 34 waist and 34 leg. The waist is a little large, a 32 would have done. Also the legs a little long. A 32 would have done. Lots of pockets. Comfortable. I did try other designs by the same manufacturer just for size, they ran true to size. You should try a pair of this style before you buy. I am an EMT trainee. Read more

Love these pants, as a guy with thicker thighs and and a rather large posterior (squats. What else can I say💁🏼♂️), these have been some of the only cargo style, ripstop uniform pants I have found comfortable. First tacticals are too tight and straight, the quality of Rothcos are deplorable, and most other brands are too generic or casual to wear on a rig. Everything is double or triple stitched and and lengths and waist are true to size, if a little forgiving. Highly recommend for other muscular men. Read more
