I got this primarily for the utility of having a high quality, high-temperature lighter around, and didn't initially realize how cigar focused it was. While I don't often smoke cigars, I appreciate the attention to detail that was put into this lighter. First of all, the flame is exactly as advertised: four large jet flames that are extremely wind resistant. This is effectively just a mini butane torch, which is exactly what I was looking for. The flame is adjustable using a knob that surrounds the refueling port (pretty standard). It has a very generous fuel capacity. I've only fueled it up once, and it hasn't run out yet even after weeks of playing around with it. The construction is very beefy. This lighter is pretty large, being about the size of an old Nokia phone. It's probably not something you'll be carrying around with you regularly. The action of flipping the lid and lighting it is very satisfying, with solid mechanical engagement. The lid and structure around the flame is all metal (as you'd hope) but the casing of the main body appears to be plastic. It seems pretty sturdy and I haven't had any issues with it getting too hot so far, but it'd be nice if it was all-metal construction. I haven't tested out the cigar features, but there are a lot of them. It has a v-groove cigar cutter built in, which has a reasonably smooth action. It also has a flip out punch that's hiding on the bottom around the refueling port, which has a very pleasant mechanical action to it. There's also a small number on the bottom, which is held in place by a magnet and again has a very pleasant feel to it (which seems to be a theme with this lighter). I was thoroughly impressed with how good this torch lighter is I've had one flame two flame 3 flame Jets before but never a four flame jet ironically it is an incredible amount of heat that gets thrown off this thing it is actually impressive how much of a difference the extra torch flame makes overall I feel like the lighter itself is quite bulky but an exceptional size it actually feels correct in a pocket while still remaining portable and not obstructing too much space regardless I feel like the flame itself is capable of reaching a decent height and all the various inclusions with cutters hole punchers and whatnot are definitely helpful especially to have around for when friends might be coming over and I'm not sure what they might be bringing or they might need or if I'm going to their house and I'm not sure what we're getting into it's definitely nice to have the attachments included. I feel like despite the fact that it is for jet flames for the torch itself it offers an excellent fuel capacity that is capable of lasting for a long time as I have rarely had to fuel it so it is impressive the amount of flame it is able to put out while still seeming to be efficient. Overall it's incredibly well constructed definitely stands out to the eye and is beautiful while remaining durable and seems to be able to take an impact without having an effect I really enjoy the ease of accessing the flame in the way that it is turned on I find that it is incredibly ergonomic and easy to use while providing a stable and reliable solution to consistently activate on demand. I picked this up because I wanted a dependable torch lighter for candles and occasional outdoor use, and it ended up being nicer than I expected.
