It foamed up very nicely and a little went a long ways. It made my skin so soft during and after shaving. It was really easy to use and clean out. I am SO glad I read all the reviews for these products before I finally settled on this one. A lot of the other ones I looked at had complaints about the brush being too stiff, or the bristles falling out as soon as the brush got a little wet or even some of them smelled like a pile of manure at a barn I’ve read. Normally I just look for a product that has an OK star rating and looks to be about what I need and order it, but as I’m new to wet shaving, I really looked around a little bit before I finally settled on this set. I’ve only used it once or twice so far but I can say the bristles are nice and soft. The hair is not falling out of the brush, the soap makes a good enough lather for a newbie like me And it doesn’t smell bad. It probably won’t be my scent of choice moving forward as I learn more but it’s 1000% acceptable for my first run of products like this. If you take care of the brush and use it the correct way, I think it’ll last an extremely long time. The orange resin disc for the holder looks kind of nice but I wanted a stand that can hold my razor as well so I’m 3-D printing a new stand for the brush and razor but other than that this was a fantastic set and I absolutely recommend it to anybody looking to get into wet shaving. So far, I am pleased with the product, but then, I'm a newby to this kind of product. The shave cream lathers up nicely and covers the face nicely. I don't feel as much razor drag as I did with my old cream. I think I would have preferred a soap puck vs the cream but time will tell. I will use the cream till gone and then order a soap puck to try. Read more
