I’ve been using this foam product for about 3 months now as part of my daily routine and wanted to share my experience with the application process. The foam format is definitely more convenient than liquid versions I’ve tried before - it dispenses easily from the can and doesn’t drip or run like liquids do. The propylene glycol-free formula is nice since I have sensitive skin and haven’t experienced any irritation or redness. The foam absorbs quickly into the scalp without leaving a greasy or sticky residue, which is important since I apply it in the morning before work. However, the foam tends to dissipate pretty fast once its dispensed, so you have to work quickly to spread it around before it turns to liquid. The fragrance-free aspect is good since I don’t want to smell like chemicals all day. Each can lasts about a month with twice daily use as directed on the packaging. The 4-pack is convenient for not having to reorder frequently. One thing that bugs me is that the foam can be hard to control when dispensing - sometimes too much comes out at once. The cans store well and haven’t had any issues with the dispensing mechanism getting clogged. Application takes maybe 2-3 minutes each time once you get the hang of it. The packaging is discreet which I appreciate. For the price point its reasonable compared to other similar products I’ve looked at. Would I continue using it? The product seems to be real minoxidil but the application mechanism is not good. If you open the can right side it up it will spray foam all over the room with high pressure, this caused a big mess the first time I used it. There is also no applicator tool so I am now reusing the applicator from my old can of minoxidil. For the price, this is fine. Read more

When I was in pharmaceuticals many years ago, minoxidil was just starting to be used as a hair-growth remedy. My husband has been bald on the top of his head for many years. I was trying to give this a fair shot because I have had the product long. I received it dec. 3 and started using it immediately within a few days of using the first bottle, the spray nozzle stopped working and spraying out foam completely. So I opened another bottle, and started using, just today the 17th same thing happened the nozzle stopped working completely while the product is still full. This minoxidil came with four different bottles to hopefully help with my hair loss. I had gastric bypass surgery last year and have been suffering from hair loss since then. I have no more hair growth and have several patches of hair loss on my head so I've been looking for anything to help me. The vitamins and collegen isnt responding so I am trying this foam. It can take a few months to notice any real growth but I haven't experienced any negative effects and will come back with an update if I notice any improvement or negative feedback. So far it is really easy and I appreciate the foam instead of the serum. I feel the foam is easier to see where it is actually being applied and any spots I have missed accidentally. Female, 79 yrs I'm not sure yet. Just recvd. I used twice. It splurted out every where 1st time. 2nd time I cautiously pressed and I was able to get small dabs. It is hard to just apply to my parts without getting on my hair. And it's kind of oily/greasy. My hair is very thin top and crown area. I'll take pictures and post in a week. I've only been using this for a week now, so it's a bit early to say if it's working or not yet. The foam from the bottle is thick and it doesn't have a weird scent like other products. You want to apply it to your scalp directly, not your hair, if possible. Use it daily for best results. You won't see results for a few months of using it though. Read more
