I'm 5'9" and weigh 155lbs. I carry bit of extra weight in my tummy region, so I ordered an extra large hoping it would be less clingy. As you can see in the pictures, an XL is still pretty clingy (both the bottom of my rib cage and my tummy are very visible in these tanks). The white tank is when it first came out of the packaging, before washing. As you can see there is a LOT of extra material up top that my A cup in my biggest padded bra could not fill. The taupe top is after washing and drying. The extra material is still there but it is less obvious after laundering. The material is very soft and stretchy (which is why even the XL clings to any and all of my curves). I wish it were 95% cotton instead of 90%, I think that would help it not cling quite so much. As it is, this will be a fine under tank. I do wish the armpit hole were cut just slightly lower. I find that shirts too close to armpit can get fragrant, if you know what I mean, especially when wearing natural deodorant. These tanks are not quite what I wanted (I wanted a tank that was mostly cotton, not too clingy, fit my small chest and curvier tummy better, and cut not too close to armpits); however, they are mostly cotton material, soft, and high around the neck, they didn't shrink too much in the wash so that it still fits my longer waist, has nice colors, and will work relatively well as an under shirt. Because of the clingy-ness of the material I probably won't wear it in public as a stand-alone tank. I had ordered two packs and was torn on whether I'd keep the second one after washing the first, but I did end up keeping both packs because it's surprisingly difficult to find exactly what I want for a reasonable price.
