Never too old for sand blocks

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these sand blocks. These are a definite upgrade from the plastic handled ones you used in elementary school. They are well made and easy to handle. They make a great sound and are great for preschool music time. But they're also great for older kid drum circles, or grown-up jam sessions. Sand blocks make it easy for everyone to participate (especially since this includes 5 sets!). I highly recommend these. Read more

I have such fond memories of this modestly simple music instrument that I just had to get these for my littles. We prefer natural wood materials and these were a great quality wood and the sand paper is adhered to well. While simple, these block also offer some tactile exploration for early learners.
