I have wavy, course hair and the rollers gripped well for me. Cardboard Box was slightly looking rough when I got it, but I didn’t find any hair in the rollers when I got it so it didn’t look like it was used before. Comb feels like cheap material and not very sturdy but gets the job done for me. Rly happy with the length of the steel duckbill clips, they’re nice and long! Better than expected given the price! I loved these rollers going in, they were soft and easy to use, and i rolled and clipped up all my hair and dried it, and when my hair was dry that’s when the disaster began. As I gently unclipped and began unrolling the rollers from my long hair, they stuck. They were immovable. My hair was inexplicably tangled into the bristles of each roller Making it literally IMPOSSIBLE to remove without ripping it. It was horrifying. I could not believe it, actually, because this would have been preventable if they had a warning label that says it is for short hair only. Please do not destroy your hair like i did, a large chunk on the back that i could not reach to disentangle had to be partially cut out and much of my hair broke. Never again . I take really good care of my hair and it’s healthy hair: these curlers ruined it in one use. Spare yourself and buy something with a smooth textured surface that doesn’t grab and hold onto your hair like malicious velcro. I am still in search of ways to put curl and wave into my hair in a way that does not ruin it. These curlers are not it. Read more
