These are high quality zippo brand wicks for lighters. They also work for many other brands of lighters as well, like Ronson. The copper wire inside makes them easy to install and shape. Highly recommended! Read more
I tried to cheat and got a a great big length of wick 2 mm thickness. The hole in a Zippo is apparently less than 2mm, so it didn’t work. I’m not sure what the Zippo diameter is, but the Zippo wicks go right in. I’m going to save the frustration going forward and just buy these.. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Well no one really needs a packet of new wicks-- Even a 50-year old Zippo typically has a few inches of good wick hidden down under the windscreen. Last week my brother gave me a 1958 Zippo that had been in the back of drawer for 25 or 30 years. It was blackened and filthy. I removed the flint spring, removed the cotton packing with tweezers, then using the tweezers, pulled up the old filthy wick a half inch, trimmed it, repacked the cotton, installed a new flint, cleaned up the inside of the cap and the windscreen with swabs and a sharpened ice-cream stick, and viola, a nearly-new looking Zippo. There were a few inches of fresh wick waiting down there all those years to be placed in service. I recommend the 5 Zippo® Wick pack as a gift-- even though you may never need it-- along with a pack of flints, and a new or old collectible Zippo. It's an ideal way to explain how to maintain that lighter for another 50 years. Read more
