This is the best garbage can. And we are tough critics. Key points: -Holds a regular sized trash bag with ties, without stretching it too tight. -Removal is easy- inner can lifts out easily and bag is removed easily- no suction or fighting - smooth operation for even those of us who have hands who’ve seen better days. - Pedal works as expected, doesn’t require a lot of weight; lid comes up to a good angle so you can actually get things in, but doesn’t FLY up and hit the wall. -Sturdy, but not heavy. -Fits nicely at the end of the counter in a galley-style kitchen. Pefect!
This works great and much better than the electric lid version that I threw away. I prefer this option to have a foot lever to open and never have to change batteries anymore like I had to on the electric version. The stainless steel is easy to clean up any spills. Read more

Pretty Good
It seems pretty good except that it came with a small ding near the top. I was able to press from the inside to mostly bend it back but it's still noticeable. Not worth returning, though. Other than that, it's great. Looks good and the push-step and lid seem to work fine. It matches my fridge too. Read more

I’m embarrassed that a trash can make me so happy. I loved the first one so much that I bought a second one for recycling. Perfect for cans and plastic bottles. Great size. Soft close lid. Sometimes I use the pedal sometimes it’s easier to just lift lid with my hand. Takes standard liners- very important. Love that the can liner can be taken out for cleaning. No spills. No smells.
