If I could give them 5 stars, I would. I love the weight of the plastic and the clarity. The bags do have an odor, though. It is not a strong odor, and it doesn't smell like a chemical. I'm hoping it's just the smell of plastic and that it will "quickly" fade away. I don't want it to seep into my clothes. I turned the bags inside-out to let them air out overnight. I then turned them back and covered my clothes. I hope this works and the odor fades. If it does, I would definitely love to have more of them. We will see. UPDATE 11/19/24 Hey everybody. It worked! By the next morning, the odor was gone. I believe it was just the "packed up plastic" smell. Now, I'm changing my 4-stars to 5-stars. If I could give them more, I would. I hope they keep these bags and don't change the way that they make them. It is not easy to find things online that truly fit the description. These are quality bags and yes, I do want more of them. I was hesitant to get this because they look very very thin. After reading the reviews, I decided to try. I'm glad I did. It works great for what I need it for. Which is for my closet, keeping my white's white and the dust off of items I don't wear often. Thin enough, that it's not bulky in the closet. And being sturdy and durable at the same time. I got tired of pestering my dry cleaners for bags to keep dust of my clothes, so I tried these bags and love them. I picked them over less expensive bags because of negative reviews of other bags. They are so much stronger than cleaners' bags and look like they can easily be dusted. It's easy to cut them shorter. They aren't as clear as cleaners' bags, but still quite clear. Read more
