Excellent for making vanilla extract.
I am very happy with these vanilla beans.? They are fresh and fragrant. I got 50 in a package, and they are perfect for making vanilla extract. I just made 10 jars, 8 oz each 2 months ago, and they are ready to use in recipes. I use 1 bean cut up for every 2 oz of 80 proof vodka. Let sit for 2 months before using, shake weekly. I just need to plan ahead when I run low. I’ll never go back to commercial vanilla extract. Read more

Work beautifully for Vanilla Bean Paste
I use these to make homemade vanilla bean paste and they work beautifully. For the best paste you should use grade A or AB and while these are grade B they still work great! They come vacuum sealed and last forever of you've got the blah's and don't get around to making your paste for a year (as I did last year). Because they are so well sealed they kept their moisture content and never spoiled. I bought a second package to make more because they were such a hit! Read more
