Better than original wheels, I am a 62 yr old woman and after the first wheel (learning curve) the other three were easy to replace. I did use a vise to hold the old wheel while I drilled which also made it super easy. Read more

Wheels worked great on my existing Samsonite suitcase. Glad they included 2 sizes of pins. Existing rivets were easy to drill out. Wheels are very good quality! Read more

This is an amazing product. Perfect fit of a super high quality product. It’s an upgrade at every point. I can’t believe a suitcase from brookstone did not come with a high quality wheel in the first place. Solid urethane with sealed bearings vs pressed plastic wheels with plastic bushings. Hot wheels have better. Read more

Casters are fine. They work well and are easy to install. As mentioned on other reviews, a drop of blue Loc-Tite is a good idea. It was a waste of time trying to drill out the rivets in the old casters. I used a hack saw holding the rivet in a vise so it couldn't spin while cutting. Impossible to do that with a drill. Worth the effort and time. For under $20, you can replace the suitcase wheels, instead of spending $150 (or more) on a new suitcase. Takes about 1 hour to replace 4 suitcase wheels. Check the wheel size before ordering and you’re good to go. These fit my 20yr Samsonite suitcase no problem! Recommend wearing goggles or glasses for the flying metal shards. Also use a drop cloth under suitcase. Have pliers, screwdrivers, and a headlamp ready along with a cordless drill. First tried using hacksaw (as seen in how-to videos). Not worth the effort unless you own an electric handheld rotary saw. Tight fit between wheel and rotary casing. Resorted to using the drill bit that is included in the repair set. Things to be aware of: 1. Must hold wheel with pliers while drilling through the rivet with the other hand, otherwise wheel will just spin at high rate. 2. The drill bit and the rivet will get extremely HOT and it will take 3-5 minutes to come loose enough to remove. You may see a small round metal shard (the top of rivet?) that will come off. 3. If you have a lot of gunk built up in the wheels (like me) then it might be harder to get the rivet to separate from the casing and wheel (the drill heat kinda welds the dirt into the rivet). Just patiently separate it with pliers and a flat head screwdriver. 4. Not sure why so many reviews said they glued (loctite) the new rivet screws. Ya gotta turn the ends at least 20-30 times until they’re tight - and that’s a lot. And if ya need to get them off in the future and use glue, then you’ve got to drill them out instead of unscrewing. Time may prove me wrong and you may see me dragging a wheelless suitcase thru the airport. Who knows?! Time will also tell if they are durable, but they are much nicer quality than the originals. This worked great. The luggage was in great shape except for a broken wheel. Replacing all of the wheels with these that I purchased on Amazon, the luggage is like new again. The hardest part was getting the old wheels off, but afterwards these installed easily. The instructions are good. All the parts I needed where included. They roll smooth. I'd buy them again for another piece of luggage. Read more

WOW, This was a perfect solution for replacing the wheels on my carryon suitcase. Delivered over night easy to install and rolls as smooth as butter!! I changed the wheels without removing the casters from the bag. Just drill out the old axle, slide in the new wheel and new threaded axle a touch of Loctite (blue) and tighten it down. I clamped the old wheel axle by placing a pair of needle nose vice grip pliers on the old wheel hub tight enough to hold the axle from spinning when I drilled out the old. 10 minutes and 4 done! Easier than changing out the whole casters. Read more
