They worked very well. On the silver especially. Got them just for my silver jewerly that have alot of designs like my silver and diamond necklaces. Don't have to rub so much to get the tarnish off. Shines silver, stainless, and gold. Oh and glasses. Probably not recommended for optics, but I use them to perfectly clean my multitude of reading glasses that are nearly disposable anyway.
