Solid Charger with Strong Cooling, but a Few Things to Note
I’m using this as a charger for my e-bike, and overall I’m impressed. First, the size is larger than I expected, but the cooling fan works really well and pushes out a lot of air. I’ve never had a charger run this cool before. Because the fan spins at a high speed, I do wonder about its long-term lifespan, but for now it performs great. My battery charges to 54.4V from a 54.6V charger, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Previous chargers I’ve used either had no cooling fan or ran very hot, so this one feels much safer and more reliable. Downside: even after the battery is fully charged, the unit still draws about 7W of power. Not a huge deal, but it’s better to unplug it right after charging. It has one more downside. Unlike my other charger, this one only goes up to 95%. While that might be better for the battery’s lifespan, it’s not great if range is important to you." Discharger is awesome it actually has a van on one side and a fan on the other to keep it cool came with two plugs so if the one didn't fit the other one would which was exactly the case it charges my battery for my e-bike in about 4 hours time and I would recommend it to anyone for charging e-bikes fully and in a short time Read more
