I’ve used it on my farm for clearing trees and firewood, and it performs like a much more expensive professional chainsaw. The easy-start system really works — it starts quickly with minimal pulls, even when cold. Had the same problem as many others that have reviewed this chainsaw. I gave it a chance because it had over 4 stars but definitely a piece of junk. Poorly built and very cheap, even the stickers are peeling off. I had a difficult time starting the first time. Thought maybe because it was new and was shipped dry. I let it run a few minutes and put it away. A week later when I was ready to use, I couldn't get it started. Never started again. Customer service was terrific with taking care of me and refunded my purchase price and the extra warranty that I paid for. Save yourself time and buy a Ryobi from Home Depot. Starting it up was a breeze, thanks to the quick start feature. I've been using the Getell 58cc gas chainsaw for cutting firewood and heavier jobs around my property, and it's been very impressive. This was my second Getell Saw purchase.y order came in quick after my order was finalized. The product was rather easy to assemble. It did require a 25:1 fuel/oil mixture. One it was started I did have to adjust the carburetor to get my saw running properly. Instructions that accompanied the saw told me how to do this. I like this saw better than the five Poulan saws I have. It has more power, is easy to start once adjusted properly, and runs quietly compared to numerous other saws I have had over the last 50 years. I am well pleased with the price and quality. Decent saw. Plenty of power. Seem to be cheaply built but you get what you pay for. Have ran it less than an hour and it seems to work well. Only complaint is that the 18” bar has a spot where the chain doesn’t fit into it correctly and is burning the bar. The tension set screw for the bar is a soft metal and will probably strip out quickly. The scrench is flat head but the tension screw is Phillips and they don’t mesh well. The bar cap came smashed on the end due to poor packaging. Read more

My primary concern in purchasing this was how easy it would be to start. The price was radically different from what other 20 inch chainsaws were going for at my home improvement store or hardware store. This was cheaper by more than half! After I got it in and assembled it mixed the gas and oil as instructed it started after the fifth or six pull. Afterwards only took one or two pulls to start. The power was incredible. I could not bog it down just kept right on cutting. I love it and I love the fact that I saved about $200. Read more
