I bought this to replace a cheap strap on a small camera bag. The old strap is basically what you'd expect from a part of a bag that is usually an afterthought. It was scratchy with no padding and cheap connectors that were 1/3 cheap metal and 2/3 plastic. And there is definitely a night and day difference between the two. I use the bag crossbody and the old strap was cutting into my neck. Very itchy and uncomfortable. The cushion on this strap is so comfortable and soft that I'm no longer experiencing any hot spots on my skin where the material rubs. The pad itself is very dense, but giving, and the fabric covering it is well placed with even stitching. No shoddy craftsmanship here. The strap itself is sleek seatbelt material. The connectors are heavy duty and operate smoothly. It's also very easy to attach and detach from any bag you choose. I recently acquired and attached a small bag to the strap itself for peripherals like small lights, and I'm not even concerned about the extra weight. I'm a field technician and my laptop bag is heavier than normal due to the various cables and adapters I need to carry. This strap was purchased to replace the original strap due to one if its clasps failing. The clasps on this strap are thick and appear to be durable and connected easily to the bag. The strap is well made and is REALLY comfortable even with the weight of the bag. The 59 Inch strap was the perfect size, though I did have to max out the adjustment. If I went a size larger I'd have room to adjust a little further "if" I needed to. Read more
This is a fantastic and sturdy strap to add to your gear. I bought it to attach to a backpack bag that carries my portable Bose speaker. It clips on perfectly, and the shoulder pad is really cushioned and comfortable. I appreciate the 360° swivel of the hook attachments. The only change I would make is to allow the shoulder padding to slide freely along the strap so that you can adjust where where it fits on the shoulder. Read more
Over the years I have written numerous reviews, and this shoulder strap is the best quality you can imagine. I have a medium sized duffle bag by LLBean and the original strap started to disintegrate after a couple of decades. This Amazon Adjustable clip on strap far exceeded my dreams, with strongly woven strap fabric, totally adjustable length sliders at both ends and mega strong, easy to use clips to attach it to any ring on pretty much anything. The clips respond to purposeful pressure to open and those things are wonderfully heavier than any others I have on travel bags, etc. There is no way the strap will come off accidentally, so use it with total trust! The cushioned pad is sewn into place, which I find to be the answer to solve issues of trying to get the shoulder pad to be actually on your shoulder. My LLBEAN duffle has two handles, easy to carry any way, however I choose the shoulder instead of hands holding handles to better choice which frees your hands. The pad is perfectly sewn on, nicely wider than the strap and the fabric has some grip to it. Just use the adjustable slides to choose how long you want the strap to be, slide it on your shoulder and travel with confidence. My carry on bag is a tropical two shades of blue with Tropical flowers and the blue in this strap matches better than I imagined. This is an amazing strap and I see zero faults in this purchase. So, If you want to simplify life and have an UPSCALE STRAP, this is one to get. I LOVE It, can't wait to travel, or even just use it for a day at the beach. FANTASTIC. Read more
I bought this to replace the strap for my portable oxygen machine. It has a lot of padding and is very comfortable. I use it crossbody and doesn’t slip off my shoulder and end up around my neck. It’s very well made. I tried two others from Amazon and this is the winner hands down. Read more
i love this strap, sometimes you find just what you are looking for. i have a good sized bag that gets heavy, i like the bag but the pad and slide through strap that came with it were awful. the hardware was cheap, and when i would walk the pad would slide out of position and make its way down the strap. this pad is fixed in place, with buckles on each side that allows the length to be adjusted. set it and forget it, once you get it adjusted to your liking you're good to go. most importantly, the pad does a great job of distributing the load and alleviating pressure on my shoulder. the strap is very sturdy, and the clips are durable and easy to snap on or off. it's not the least expensive strap on amazon, but i checked out a LOT of straps before ordering. this one checked all the boxes on my wish list, and provides great value for the dollar. very happy with the purchase.
