Little camera big on features
After moving to a new apartment, I wanted to keep an eye on things inside my new home. I started my search for a security camera. I wanted something that was small, could operate without being tethered to a dedicated power source, wasn't dependent on a Wi-Fi network, high-resolution sensor with night vision capability, support for microSD memory cards, and it had to be cheap. I figured I would have to compromise on my wish list items, but I was wrong. While browsing through the many security cameras on Amazon, I came across this little gem. It checked all my requirements, and then some. This camera has: - Rechargeable battery for untethered operation when needed - 2K/4K video resolution - Automatic IR night mode - Wi-Fi capability - Motion detection - MicroSD memory card slot - Cloud storage option if needed After using it for the last week, I can state that it is undoubtedly the best security camera I have ever owned. It's very light its small size allows it to be placed almost anywhere in a room. Setup and configuration were a breeze, the battery life is phenomenal, the companion app is easy to use and is actually useful, and the video quality is excellent. Motion detection can be on full time or can be scheduled, and motion sensitivity is adjustable. But the most impressive feature I found is that the camera doesn't light up like a Christmas tree when it is powered up. Every other camera I've used required small pieces of electrical tape to cover all the embedded LEDs that light up the camera like a neon sign. Note that there is no pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) functionality in this camera, so it may work for everyone.
