After browsing around for days I settled on this one. Quality is fantastic. Better than the original camera in Jetta that I rented. Easy to install and to operate. Records in 4k and 1080p (they claim 5k but it’s really 4k, and I’m fine with that). It records from three cameras at the same time. So you have 3 files being saved all the time. Throw in a 256gb microsd card and you are good to go. My favorite feature is that it saves and locks the videos when you go over some big bumps. Received this product and was excited to get it installed. I installed the front cam, and saw that the resolution was set to 5k, which made the video cropped in and not usable as a front dash. After playing with the settings, I adjusted the resolution down to 4k which gave me a much wider FOV. Once the front was installed the cabin cam and rear dash were easily to install. The picture quality on these cams are great and the main dash display has the PIP mode which allows you to see one small split screen of the cabin + rear/front, while driving. I like how the dash is pretty discrete and can be easily hidden under the windshield. This device has a lot of great features, such as GPS, G-Shock and a feature which allows the cam to record for a few seconds after the engine is turned off. My biggest con for this device is the that in order for me to get to the settings mode, I have to press the right button and then press the far left button to open the settings. I wish the settings button was much easier to access. Video quality for the rear cam during night drives could be better too. When cars are behind you with their headlights on, unless they are 1 - 2 meters away and at a complete stop, you can make out their plate, but if they are driving behind you recklessly, identifying their plate with the rear is nearly impossible. My purchased this dashcam to replace one I've had for the last 5 years. The reason I purchased this is because it contains a "Super Capacitor". I loved my other dashcam, which was also had GPS speed and location recorded into the video. This can be used in court to provide location of an incident. But that dashcam I had before had a rechargeable battery installed. Once the battery goes bad, and an incident happens which disconnects the power, the camera dies instantly and does not save the current recording. 1. Front Camera has great image quality. Crystal clear when you pause to read a license plate on a recording. 2. Interior Camera image quality and field of view is good and wide to capture the entire cabin of passengers, but the image is "mirrored" and there does not seem to be a way to correct this. Hoping for a firmware update. 3. Rear View Camera image quality is a little disappointing but not a dealbreaker for me. Read more

The installation was super easy as there was plenty of cable. The only con I have, is that even tho the unit is usb-c, it still must be plugged into a usb-a port. Best dash I've bought so far. I've owned the vantrue and another dash and this one excel both of those. Pros: 3 channel, app for easy viewing, wider screen, options to view separate screen channel, it also a lot of other features that most dash cam don't offer. Video quality is good not 4k but still clear. Cons: No suction mount so you're not able to move it on/off, it's a sticky adhesive so it will but stuck there. The wide range view isn't as wide as my other 2 cameras. It's suctions to your windshield at an angle so it's a little annoying. The wires is a bit annoying due to it's location on the dash cam. For the price and features that it offers, it's worth it. As for longevity, I'm not sure since I've only owned it for 2 months. So far it's been great. Read more
